Welcome To Locust Tree Farm

Locust Tree Farm is a small fiber animal farm now located in Oak Ridge, NC just west of Greensboro.  We have been breeding colored Angora goats for over 4 years now and have some truly beautiful animals with fleece to die for.  We are constantly striving to improve our small herd.  We know each animal well, personality and temperament.  Our goats are handled often and would love to munch on a peanut or whatever goat treat you might have to offer.
We shear in the spring and fall and usually have some fleece available for purchase.  A few goat kids are available in the spring to good homes only.  Fiber products, such as hand dyed fleece or roving are available but the batches will vary depending on what is available and how much time the farm labor (me) has available for making it.  
We may be adding a few good quality fiber sheep to the mix soon.  I'm thinking maybe some Babydoll southdowns, miniature Cheviots or even some rare Gotland sheep.  I also have a wonderful PCA, colored Pygora buck that has sired some really nice kids when bred to the full angora does.  We have 2 CAGBA registered angora bucks so we can maintain good genetic diversity.
